Caitlin & Freddie’s Fashionista London Wedding at Claridges’

Where do I even start? Have you ever seen a more perfect bride? To top it off, Caitlin was also one of the most down-to-earth, laid-back, and genuinely lovely people I’ve ever met.

Caitlin and Freddie live in London and wanted a wedding that felt truly London. Although Caitlin is originally from South Africa, London has her heart. When I first suggested Claridges’, they weren’t convinced – so I frog-marched them down there to see it in person. One look and they were sold.

The couple chose to keep the ceremony intimate with just a handful of guests at Marylebone Register Office, before heading to Claridges’ for the main celebration. I’ve always adored the famous Room of Mirrors and knew it would look incredible filled with candlelight. The florist embraced the brief, and with around 1,000 candles flickering, the effect was pure magic. (And yes – 1,000 candles do give off a lot of heat, but it was worth every second for those photographs!)

The dinner was vibrant, the energy infectious, and the party spirit unstoppable. I call weddings like this my “Gatsbys” – because wow, do they know how to party! From the first note of the horn, the dancefloor was packed, with guests dancing non-stop to afro-beats and garage until 3am.

I love, love and I love laughter, it’s my favourite thing in the world and this wedding was just bursting over with that. It was the epitome of a fashion-forward London wedding – chic, stylish, and unforgettable.
