Vicky & Ercan’s 5 day Puglian wedding at Castello Monaci

Vicky and Ercan always knew they wanted a destination wedding – somewhere warm, but later in the year so it wouldn’t be unbearably hot. We explored several locations, but as soon as they saw Castello Monaci in Puglia, they knew it was the one. They also knew they wanted an extended celebration, incorporating a welcome party, a stag and hen day, and the wedding itself.

The celebrations began with a tomato-themed welcome party. We had created a huge tomato-inspired event earlier in the year which Vicky loved, and honestly – it feels almost illegal not to include tomatoes when you’re in Puglia! We made it playful and authentic with Puglian lights and a lively street band. It was loud, it was raucous, and it was oodles of fun.

The wedding day was pure elegance. The ceremony flowers were designed to look as though they had always been there, creating a timeless and natural “wow” effect. This ceremony will always hold a special place in my heart as one of my favourite designs.

The day was magical from start to finish. The cake-cutting moment with bubbles and fireworks was like something straight out of Disney. The celebration flowed into a wild party where Vicky’s high-school favourite band, Blazin’ Squad, got everyone on the dance floor. And as if that wasn’t enough, there were three dress changes – we truly crammed everything into one unforgettable wedding day.
