Nicky & Ashley’s Wedding at Stoke Park, Surrey

Nicky and Ashley married in 2015 at the beautiful Stoke Park in Surrey – and to this day, they remain two of my absolute favourite people. From the very start, the theme of their wedding was clear: family. I don’t think I’ve ever met such a close-knit group. Their friends and relatives welcomed us in with open arms, and even years later, when we met up again, every single one greeted us like old friends. They are warmth personified.

As with every couple, you learn little things about them along the way. With Nicky and Ashley, it was their love of bringing people together, their passion for a proper party, and of course old-school garage. I’m not sure Stoke Park has ever fully recovered from Colin Francis raising the roof and shaking the Surrey countryside. Noise complaints? Just part of the fun when you’re celebrating love with this much energy.

The styling was timeless and elegant: a classic palette of whites and greys, brought to life with delicate details, including the unforgettable Earl Grey roses. As a planner, you always hope to design a wedding that never dates, and theirs is a perfect example – sophisticated, beautiful, and a true reflection of the couple.

But above all, what shone through that day was fun and laughter. Ashley could easily have a second career in comedy, and the joy that filled the room was utterly infectious. It was a celebration that perfectly balanced style and soul,  a luxury Surrey wedding at Stoke Park that will forever stay in my heart.
