Millie & Dean’s Destination Wedding in Rome

Millie and Dean married in 2022 and were the true OG couple of Villa Miani in Rome, often imitated, but never replicated.

The celebrations began with a stylish welcome party at the W Rome, one of the very first private parties the hotel had ever hosted. It set the tone for the weekend perfectly (and I was amazed they ever did parties again!).

Millie was all about the flowers. She had big, bold ideas and left us to convince Dean it was worth it. The morning after, I still keep his text that simply read: “I regret nothing!” Phew! With welcome parties, I always believe you should never peak too early – you decorate just enough to wow guests and hint that epicness is coming, but always leave them wanting more.

The wedding day at Villa Miani was nothing short of spectacular. The design was breathtaking, the atmosphere electric, and the entertainment built throughout the day, culminating in the legendary Lewis Capaldi performing as a surprise for the bride. Truly unforgettable.

The weekend wrapped up with a laid-back recovery party back at the W Rome, complete with pizzas, burgers, and even a pool dip at the end (yes, I jumped in too!).

It was a wedding of goosebumps, magic, and dreams – an iconic Rome destination wedding we’ll never forget.
